Doctor Amin Amer received his MB BCH from Zagazig University in Egypt, where he also earned a Master’s and MD degrees. He is currently in the private practice of dermatology in Cairo, Egypt with Dr. Mohamed Amer, serves as Executive Editor of the African Journal of Dermatology, and is on the professorial faculty of Zagazig University.
Doctor Amer is Secretary General of Cairo Derma, a biannual congress held in Cairo. He holds membership in the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. He often contributes to the lay press, writing on dermatologic and cosmetic subjects.
